This was my first abstract design. I collected colors and textures I liked and just started hooking! I was inspired by my wools, yarn, sari ribbon, some shells and glass beads that looked like sea glass. I played a bit with pulling wool strips up and removing the weft to spread them out making starfish, jellyfish shapes! Also had fun adding wisps of natural wool as ocean spray! It was both frustrating and fun not to have a pattern or really even a clear plan in mind!
