Halloween is my favorite holiday. I have a friend who saw this pattern, knew I would like it and bought it for me. I used all recycled wool and I think it has the “old look” that I was going for when I chose the colors.
About the Artist

I started hooking in 2002 with Jackye Hansen, the Queen of Waldaboro. Predictably my first rug was a small Waldoboro rug. It took me a year. Since then, I have hooked about 60 items, including a couple bags and pillows. I have designed my own patterns and hooked patterns that other people have drawn. My favorite rug hooking school has always been Green Mountain and I’ve been lucky enough to take lessons from 25+ teachers. The best part of rug hooking is the people you meet. I have made friends all over the States, plus England, Scotland, Japan and Austialia.
